    1. How much do you charge for a trip to the island?

      Due to our reduced capacities and additional safety requirements as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, all fares are $12.50 per person ONE-WAY (Children 2 yrs and under are FREE). Credit and debit card payments will incur a 15% service charge. (13% HST + 2% e-payment fee).

    2. How can I pay?

      We take Canadian and American currency. Our payment terminals accept all major credit cards (Visa, Amex, MasterCard) and Canadian debit cards. You can also purchase tickets through our mobile app, available for both iOS and Android devices.

    3. Does payment include a round trip fare?

      No. Our prices only include a one way fare to the island. Alternatively, you could use the public ferry which will take you back to the city for free.

    4. What are your hours of operation?

      Monday-Thursday: 10:30am – 8:30pm
      Friday: 10:30am – 9:30pm
      Saturday: 10am – 10pm
      Sunday: 10am – 9pm

    5. How can I download your app?

    6. How much does it cost to bring a stroller or a bike?

      Bikes, strollers and small luggages are free of charge.

    7. Prohibited items on the water taxi

      As per Toronto by-law 608-30, we are not allowed to transport E-bikes, E-scooters, firewood, propane BBQ’s, industrial sound equipment, generators, and open alcohol on the water taxi. Trying to bring these items on the water taxi may result in denial of service.

    8. Can I bring my pets?

      Yes you can. Your pets can come on the water taxi free of charge.

    9. What time does the water taxi leave?

      During business hours we are constantly operating between the island and the city with no fixed schedule. Boarding is on a first come, first serve basis.

    10. What are the regular hours, and what is peak time?

      During peak operating hours, wait times may be up to 20min or longer. During all other operating hours, wait times are usually no longer than 10min. Dock attendants will be on hand to offer approximate wait times to guests.

    11. Can you drop off anywhere?

      No. We have fixed drop off locations which are adjacent to the public ferry docks (with the exception of Yacht Clubs)

    12. Which docks are you servicing?

      We are servicing all three ferry docks at Ward’s Island, Center Island, and Hanlan’s point. For trips to Hanlan’s Point, we also recommend Tiki Taxi at the foot of Spadina Ave (www.tikitaxi.ca) if you’re coming from the west side of town.

    13. Do you take people to Yacht Clubs on the island?

      Yes we do. However, there is a minimum charge required. Please use our contact form to inquire or ask a dock attendant.

    14. Do you operate in all kind of weather?

      We reserve the right to stop our daily operation based on severe weather conditions like heavy winds, thunderstorms, lightning, etc.

    15. Is the water taxi wheel chair accessible?

      Unfortunately, our water taxis are NOT wheelchair accessible. Please use the public ferry if you require wheelchair accessibility.

    16. How long is the trip between the city and the island

      On average, a one way trip takes about 5-10min dock to dock (depending on traffic and weather conditions).
